Bird Nest Fungi
This odd and fascinating little fungi look for all the world like a tiny bird nest, when it has opened. The fruiting body form a little cuplike nest which contain spore-filled eggs. I believe that this is a freshly emerging Wooly Bird Nest fungi that hasn’t opened yet.
